As Development Manager, Investment & Development, Courtney Blackburn manages the development processes of Midway’s various commercial and mixed use projects. This includes both ground up and value add opportunities, such as Kirby Grove, CITYCENTRE, The Jones on Main, and GreenStreet.
Prior to joining Midway, Courtney served as a project engineer for Gilbane Building Company. At Gilbane, Courtney assisted in construction management of a 30-story corporate interior renovation in downtown Houston followed by the new construction of the Tomball Memorial High School.
Courtney graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management from Purdue University and received her MBA from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. Courtney is a LEED® Accredited Professional and active member of the Commercial Real Estate Women organization. Courtney is also currently serving on the Building Committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Houston. She is active in various alumni groups, serving as her class representative for St. John’s School and class ambassador for the University of Texas.
